Giovanna received her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law. While at Georgia State, Giovanna participated in trial advocacy while competing in mock trial with the Student Trial Lawyers Association, externed for the commercial litigation division at the State of Georgia Attorney General Office and assisted in pro bono work as a Graduate Research Assistant for the Center for Justice and Access, focusing on meaningful access to courts and equal treatment in the legal system.

Giovanna co-authored Envisioning Atlanta: Critical Commentary on the City’s Efforts to Amend Its Comprehensive Development Plan in the Westlaw Zoning and Planning Law Report focused on land use law and education law in Atlanta.
