Joseph Alonso

Joseph is a founding member of Alonso & Wirth. His highest proficiency lies in Arbitration and Mediation cases, with experience that includes multi-million-dollar awards.


Having successfully practiced law for over 20 years, Joseph is often sought after for his integrity and discretion. He has a national practice litigating disputes over intellectual property, employee raiding, trade secrets and non-compete agreements in courts and arbitration. He also handles regulatory matters at the federal and state level.

Community Connection

Joseph serves on the Carter Center Board of Councilors, is a Governor appointee and Secretary for the Georgia Humanities Council Board and serves on the Oxford College of Emory University Alumni Board.

His passions are family, work, and community. He believes that to see a community thrive and offer a rich live-work-play experience, we must actively contribute to that realization and success.
